Get a copy of the Kreige and Berry book, The Dobsonian Telescope. It has some excellent and detailed info on building dob scopes. Bobs comments are also germaine. The program he mentions will give a very accurate and scientific results for placement of the contact points. The book gives dimensions for various size mirrors and thickness. |
