I know the computer is intergral to the concept, however the stand alone units have the computing power and data base already built in. What I'm looking for (and it may not be available) is plans and/or availability for such a unit. My understanding is that the present day system sold by various companies are in fact the same, just minor data base variations. I'm just wondering if thse stand alone computers have been copyrighted or are they available only by license from the inventor? I'm certainly not capable of writing the software programs to do what is required, but I'll bet there are numerous atm's out there who are and have already done it. |
