Just a few months ago, I added three, 12v CPU cooling fans to my Meade 16" Starfinder, which uses a Sono Tube. The reason for using CPU fans was due to their "low profile." Very thin, very quiet and very low vibration. I use a 12v power pack with a cigarette lighter adapter to power the fans. Although you would not require nor have room for three fans in your 10", my web page on modifications in this area may be of assistance to you. And yes, you should use a fan to cool down the primary mirror and mirror cell.

Good luck!
