I have an early Star Instruments 10"F9 R-C (that's what he makes) and it's a decent scope. It has some problems (zonyness) but those were problems of the early scopes and I've seen some of the later work and it's a lot better. He's been by to see my scope once at RTMC and apologized for the poor quality relative to the present work. I would expect that the F15 would be a lot better instrument than what I have for several reasons.
