Unfortunately, passwords are one way encrypted to a string which is stored in the database. This offers the ultimate in protection of people's favorite passwords at the expense of convenience. I always try to choose the more secure path.

You can request a new password be sent to the email on file, where you can then use that to change it back to anything you want. Everything flows through that email account to ensure only the actual user can post with their name.
