There's several ways that builders go to allow for cameras to be used. One way is to make another set of holes for the primary mirror for when using the scope as a astrograph. Another is to use a cutdown barlow to extend the focal length a bit.
Some of the additions to the focuser look long but really aren't like the EP projection system as the EP is really buried inside the device and is only about 3/4" or so further out than normal.
Get together what you are going to use and find out what is going to be needed to get everything working right.
