Why would that be. If one had three boats with the silver and the two salts, couldn't one control the deposition by controlling the heat. I understand accuracy can be improved by charging the Boats with an electrostatic inducer with an opposite charge plate behind the target. If the boat can not get hot enough I would understand but I think it will handle the TiO3 and Mgf2.

Since the radius of most mirrors is probably out side of the chamber, how do you measure a 1/2 wave coating?
