Been thinking about your post for some time. I guess you are talking about using sagging lines as reflectors? Certainly not the water surface nor the steel in the concrete. One could use a round hole and sagging lines for a reflector but it would be a lot of wark and probably not perform as well as a formed dish half its surface area if not diameter.

If the Lord gives me the time and allows me to live long enough, I have a 16ft and 30ft dish to play around with. I have seen a flat panel that replaces a large dish, so who knows about a pool.
