Thanks for the input. I also have a 6" tool that still has the lap on it. It is made from pretty hard pitch as I was making an f/12 mirror that I left spherical. Would the hardness be a problem? Also, couldn't I use the 10" and cut down the outer facets to about 8~9" diameter. I could put a softer pitch on it.
