I have a 10" dob from Discovery. I haven't looked through any other telescope, so it's hard for me to know what is really good, and what is OK.

My 10mm pl eyepiece gives me lunar(and planetary) views that have been somewhat blury. My 25mm pl eyepiece is very pleasant, and clear. I contacted Discovery last week and asked how I can improve my view. They told me to send back the 10mm eyepiece for their inspection, and told me they wanted me to be happy..even if it ment re-doing my primary. So I'd have to say, they stand behind their product.

But..I will never buy another telescope. From here on end..If I want one..I'll have to make it myself. And so..here I am..trying to suck-up as much information as I can.

Happy Viewing, Mike
