Greetings all,
what would be the best support for the mirror in an 8" dob?
a layer of carpet for the back to rest on.
3, 6, 9 dollops of silicone (with spacers before it sets) to the back plate.
3, 6, 9 point flotation cell with soft foam pads.

I'm leaning towards a sling support for the bottom edge as in the large mirrors for when the scope is horizontal and small clips to prevent the mirror from falling forewards.
The mirror is only 1" thick as thats the thickest glass I can get without paying an arm and a leg.
Many thanks
Charles
