I don't know if I can swing the money for aluminum truss poles for my dob. I am thinking of using EMT in place of the aluminum. I realize this would make the dob a little heavier. I was wondering if anyone out there used this or another cheaper solution than the aluminum. Or would you suggest me saving the money and buy the aluminum.
