I have just the machine in my shop and it easily handles up to 20" glass. 24" would be OK too. Contact me off list at jkoptic@juno.com and I will give you more info and pictures. The truck rear axle is a great way to go and is what I have used for years. Forget the heavy steel shafting, you wont need it. Costs for the whole thing are low and every thing is either from the auto junk yard or yard and garage sales.
