I've yet to view a cluster..I am just learning the sky/constellations, and I find it a little confusing, to find my way around in an telescope's up-side down Universe.

I tried to find M51 M81+M82 in Ursa Major a few times..but no luck..or I just didn't know what I was looking at.

I have found Pegases! and tonight I have figured out where M31 is. That might not seem to be a big deal..haha!..but for me..it's one more rung on that huge ladder of trying to understanding the Universe..:)

You maybe, and, probably are right about sky conditions. Some cloud did pass over earlier. Also the almost full-Moon may have played a role being high in the south-east.

Our Astronomy Group outing last Saturday was clouded out..so I should get some feed-back from some fellow members..next outing....thanks:)
