When you Glue it down, you don`t have floatation,
still it will probably be OK for 5-10yrs. I would not expect it to hold an excellent figure for longer than that so I would mount it correctly and you can make your own 9 point for an extra couple of bucks. I use small nylon furniture glides with spikes on them that you drive into the bottoms of wooden chair legs. Small bearings or marbles make good pivot points sitting in counter sunk holes.
