Most places will ask for the bolt to be removed as the epoxy usually isn`t a vacuum grade expoxy. I haven`t seen the article yet but there was an article several years ago on the same subject and I tried it and found that it works best on thin mirrors as you don`t need to use that much tension to get the correct shape. Full thickness mirrors tend to need a lot of tension to get the shape to move to any real amount. |
