The magazines are being offered as a set and are currently listed on an auction web site called "eBay". The page address for ALL of the auctions that I currently have going is: http://komodo.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewListedItems&userid=dcadd y@kearney.net

The page with the Telescope Making magazines specifically is: http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=13210014

The auctions will run until 5/12/98 21:54:30 Pacific Daylight Time. The high bidder at that time will win if they have reached the minimum price at which I will part with the magazines. (I will tell you that "reserve" price is $60.00 or $4.00 per copy). If it is not bid that high I am not required to sell it.) I believe that TM issues are commonly offered for $5 each, so the reserve is reasonable.

In order to place a bid, all you have to do is register with eBay and come up with a password. This way, no one else can bid for you. You can see all the information on how eBay works at: http://pages.ebay.com/aw/nut-start1.html

The page to become registered (so that you are authorized to place bids) is at: http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?RegisterShow

If you have never heard of eBay, I think you will find that it is an amazing site and quite a resource for anyone buying and selling. There are catagories for almost anything!

I would have put this information in my Astromart ad, but they would not allow me to mention eBay since they have a contractual arrangement with a new auction web site called "sci-bid" (I think).

If the magazines do not bring my "reserve" price of $60 (plus shipping) I will be able to offer them to individuals myself, but I am required to sell it to the high bidder on eBay since the auction is already in progress. If they do not bring my reserve price, I will consider breaking up the set, but I would prefer to sell them as a complete set and would suggest any buyer turn around and offer any issues that he does not need to complete his set.
