Aren`t you that spoilt rich kid in Temecula that is building an observatory for free by begging for it and laughing at the gulablity of the donors? Building it right in the middle of a $20 million dollar family winery estate?

If I had $6000 given to me for astronomy I would use it to fund workshop equipment and CCD camera for my scouts to use in telescope making and asteroid search program. If I personally had $20K I would give it to my mother for eye surgery she needs after being blinded by a Laser in the hands of an incompetant Doctor.

$600 would by a lot of used but good telescope let alone $6000. If you get your priorities straight and walk like a man, maybe you wouldn`t feel the need to beg. If you do have to ask for something do it using your own name.

Giving somebody something because they want it is not compassion. Believe it or not a telescope is not a need. Under the Clinton economy the working middle class have fallen through the cracks unable to get insurance, charged three prices for medical services cause they are not on insurance and the cost of medical services have gone up 15,000% in the last 8 years and medicine 23,000%. Find a diabetic and you probably have found a needy cause. About 8 million mostly uninsured working class were given or prematurely triggered into diabetes in the 1996 Flu Shots. Once diagnosed with diabetes they can not get insurance that will cover diabetic conditions (in the minds of the medical "profession", every ailment is diabetes related for the diabetic so nothing is covered including being blinded by a laser), so there is a charitable cause for you MICK.

-Rick
