For the theory, go get the program PLOP.EXE which is available at several places on the web (sorry, I don`t have one bookmarked) and run the mirror specifications on the program. You will probably find that there will be less than 1/100 wave deformation of the surface.
BTW, the 1/22 wave surface is an excellent surface and I hope that you have the number from an interfrometer test rather than the Foucault test as that`s about the practical limit for the Foucault test.
