Nothing beats conventional polishing. If you are budget impaired, at least, you can modify a potters wheel with 2 variable speed motors. Don`t shortcut a bit of physical labor, and for god sakes, don`t try "spinning" a parabaloid. The root quality of your imaging is 100% dependent upon the accuracy of the optical quality of your system.
