Steve,

got some info from Philips lamps (must be the similar as Sylvania or others).

HID lamps (metal halide)

peaks : 3 peaks at ->450 nm;540 nm; 590nm being these last two the highest ones

HID lamps (high-pressure sodium)

peaks: about three but all very close; from 570 nm to 610 nm (maximum ~595 nm).


if you wnat I will scan the spectres and send them to you.
