I wonder whether the isopropyl alcohol could be substituted by ethyl alcohol when doing cleaning of the Schmidt plate of a SCT - it`s the stuff used in household mostly for cleaning glass surfaces in my countries (DE,FR,CH,UK). Is there any problem, e.g. that the coating is soluble in household alcohol, but not in isopropyl alcohol?
