Any recommendations on how to accurately measure focal length? My mirror is 8" f6 or so but before I cut into the tube for my newtonian reflector I need an accurate measure.

I figure I need to be within +- 1/4 inch to cut the focuser hole at the right spot.

Anyone have an easy method they have used?
