The LAAS is one of the older astronomy groups and while they may not have an active mirror grinding group right now, there are a lot of people in the group that have ground thier mirror and you can probably find somebody that has been a guiding light when mirrors were ground. After that, there are a lot of websites out there that have mirror grinding and polishing.
BTW, the grinding is really very easy and after you have done your first, you will probably never go back.
