I`m working on a 6" as a long fl, wanted 70~72"fl.
Got sagitta down to .025 and started working through the grits. Finished the 120 and checked fl by imaging sun on wall and measuring. Came out to approx 66"!! Worked tool on top with 120 for two wets, did all of 220 tool on top, checked again and still 66~67. Worked 320 and 500 mirror on top, just checked and still 66 approx. I didn`t expect the fl to come down that quickly, as it was in the high 70`s low 80`s at the .025 sagitta. Any suggestions? I`ll stay with what I have, no big deal, but never missed one that much before!
