The government says that the inflation rate is only about 2% at this time. What they don`t tell you is that the figures are changing because the prices that they have are increasingly being those of the cheap products rather than the quality products that were used a few years ago. You can buy eggs for $2+ a dozen or $.99 a dozen depending upon what store that you go to. When you need to reduce the inflation rate, you start buying the $.99 eggs and just mark them as eggs like you always have. Only those in the know may know of the transposition of the products.
You have just been caught up in the process of the real inflation which is more like about 10% for the last few years. Then on top of that, you got nailed with the difference between the glass bought maybe 8 years ago with a new order of glass. Welcome to the real world of inflation.
Go for gore in 2000, help keep the lie alive!
