Heres an idea, obtain one of those concrete form tubes at the home depot and some thin aluminum sheet, roll the aluminum sheet around the
outside of paper tube and glue and rivet,this will
add some strength,and look better when painted.
the wall thickness of the concrete form tubes at
the home depot are not as thick as sonotube.
