Has any one heard of a metrogon lens?
A surplus optics company I`ve seen on the `net
has two different kinds for sale with some pretty impressive spec.s They were described as being
two mounted groups of lenses that needed two be
mounted in a barrel, the spacing information would
be included. Being a machinist, I figured the
fabrication of the barrel would no sweat. I`m
hoping to get a nice setup for astrophotography,
I`ve already made a nice mount with a digitally adjustable drive( no manual guiding for me!)
