Edmund does make precision parabolic mirrors that are perfectly satisfactory objectives for an astronomical telescope. These are usually full thickness mirrors and are not the "thin" mirrors that are currently popular with some of the manufacturers. The only problem I have with the Edmund mirrors is the price which is high in every case. To find out more, look in the Edmund catalog under "Precision Parabolic Mirrors".
