A few weeks ago I discussed having a 6" F 1/2 (Thats 3inch focal length). I have decided to purchase a 10" Pyrex Mirror blank ground to a F6. I understand that one can get a blank preground from some manufacturers with a tool so that you need only do the final figuring, and polishing. Does anyone have any advice for me as to which manufacturers have these options available and who will be the most reasonable with regards to my pocketbook. |
