There`s lots of stuff out there in www land. Go to a searce engine (WWW.GOOGLE.COM is nice) and type in for a search "amateur telescope", "telescope making" and other such things. You will get thousands of hits and have a nice long time wandering around the great web. You might also look at http://www.atmpage.com as one starting point. Not many places have actual dimensioned plans for a particular scope although the San Francisco Sidewalk Astronomers do have some for a Dob. The basic idea here is to do your own thing in many respects and as a result, most people just look at somebody elses design and says "I can do better than that!" and then does so.
There are also lists of websites and when you find one, there`s a lot to explore there also. When you get some technical questions, feel free to ask questions here. I only get nasty with stupid questions.
HAVE FUN AND KEEP LOOKING UP!
