| Refractor Modification

I`m thinking of modifying a 90mm objective lens with a bigger 4 inch lens.I`m thinking that it may be possible taking into consideration the focal length and the f/ratio.But what I want to know is has any body ever done this and is there any advantages to doing this? Also can this be done? |
