What is black vitrified ceramic?, I know that vitrified means "fused",so im guessing that a blank of vitrified ceramic is cast like a pyrex mirror is ,or is it poured into a mold, allowed to harden and then fired in a kiln? i have heard that the surface roughness of these mirrors is a problem, do to the stone-like nature of this material. any ideas?........stevec
