I too wouldn't mind a 20 inch or even 24" light weight that is highly portable. : Pyrex is vastly superior and cost less than BVC unless you are paying too much through middle-middle men. : I am pretty sure we will be able to come through with comparable sizes in Borosilicate for half of the BVC stuff of which I have heard nothing good by the way. : Cheers, : -Rick I know of at least two other groups who are into slumping glass as a club thing and they haven't got very many takers. Given the price of BVC versus the added cost of redoing the pyrex in a kiln I don't see how you can compete with BVC. Getting the glass from Newport or UL is still the cheapest route for pyrex. Ric |
