If you're talking about the ASP stuff, that stuff polishes up quite nicely from what I have heard. Haven't seen any yet but the word that I have heard is that it grinds fast and polishes out to a nice figure rather quickly. Watch out for the dogbiscuit which is pretty much caused by not rotating the tool and mirror fast enough and as a result, getting cuts that aren't smooth over a large area. It's kind of like taking a belt sander and sanding a panel by putting the sander down and sanding what's under the sander and then moving the sander to a new spot and trying to match the depth. You do a much better job by moving the sander around in rapid semirandom motions. Rotating the mirror and tool rapidly is along the same concept. |
