: Am having a hard time finding a source of UNglazed hexagonal : ceramic tile, 1" size approx. Local suppliers either don't want : to talk to me because of the small amount I need or don't carry the unglazed. : Any suggestions out there? : Walt Hi Walt: Long long time. You might ask for vitrified tile. You do not want merely unglazed tile. It can be used but it will break down sooner and just doesn.t compare in any good way to vitrified tile. There is a source in San Marcos CA near Escondidio but most tile stores should understand what you want when asking for vitrified tile. Vitrified tile will wear to the cement without changing surface texture, crumbling or becomming soggy. |
