Thanks for the input on the mirror kits. W-B has exactly what I want. Boy! Have prices gone up since the 70's!! Now, I'm remembering that our club once made a 14" Dob from a porthole about 7/8" thick. We had no tool, so made one from plywood, sealed with polyurethane, then epoxied unglazed ceramic hex tiles (1") to it and ground away. Covered it with pitch to polish and worked like a champ. Any input/ideas along this line. Thanks for the inputs. Walt |
