When I make a 2" Crayford, I usually try for at least 2" of travel just to make sure that I have enough. I have made them with as little as 1.5" but the various EPs that I have put that near the limits. I also have a commercial (Crazy Ed Optical) 1.25" focuser that has about 2.5" of travel and that provides plenty for the EPs. |
