Can someone please tell me if this type of camera is essential for astrophotography, with a ETX-90 MEADE Telescope. The specifications are as follow:

type: 35mm pre-focusing motor camera
film size: 24 x 36 mm(standard 35 mm film)
lens: f=50 mm color optical lens
shutter speed: 1/200s-1/100s mechanical shutter
viewfinder: vertical viewfinder and albada bright line viewfinder
aperture: f 6.3, f8, f11, f16
self-timer: approx delay 5-14 sec.
flash unit: a built-in electronic flash hot shoe
film loading: auto load
fim advance: automatic film advance
film rewind: manual rewind at the end of roll
exposure counter: additive, automatic resets to "s" when the camera back cover is open

thanks...
