At least you have a good camera for doing astrophotography. Try doing still shots. Just use the 50mm lens on a tripod and do 20-25 second exposures in dark areas pointing at certain constellations and such. That is a lot of fun and you don`t realize just how much your film will pick up. Also get a shutter release cable. Down below is a link where there are many more links that can help. Good luck!!!
