WOW! I just saw a picture by John Chumack called "MilkyWay" and . . . well, WOW! I had no idea a 35mm with a wide angle lens could do that. Normally I shoot people and am saving my pennies (literaly) to get a good scope (another discussion when I have more pennies). I`d like to get started with the equipment I currently have, so heres the question:
What do I need to do Astrophotography? I have a camera (Pentax K-1000 just for this purpose), 28mm, 45mm, 135mm, 35-80mm, 70-210mm, and 500mm lenses.
I`ve "shot" people for years (wedding, ports., ect.) so I know what I`m doing on the ground, but I never bothered to look up until recently. How do I do it? What will I need? This is my first step until I get the scope, but the knowlege can be applied there too right? |
