I want to add computer control to a basic set up using an 'EQ-4' mount, a for-runner of the EQ-5 currently sold with the larger Helios reflectors; I'm told all these mounts are just copies of a Vixen design but made in China. Orion Optics have told me that the SkySensor 2000 will bolt right on, using its own encoding motors. Has any one any experience of this kind of set up or am I just wasting rather a lot of money? Does any one know of any viable alternatives? If any one wants to reply directly please use:-
