Anyone Using IDAS Light Suppression Filter?

I was wondering if any has used the IDAS Light Pollution Suppression filter from Hutech. (Used to be Tokia, now IDAS.)

Anyone using it? Happy with it? Any idea how it compares with the filter from Meade, Celestron, Orion, and Lumicon?

These are supposed to be excellent LPR filters. They not supposed to shift colors unnaturally like most light pollution filters do. They're supposed to be so good, you can use color film with them, acording to the Sky & Telescope review.

The SCT version is really expensive. You have to buy a 2" eyepiece filter and an adapter for each side to get the SCT threads. Around $230 for the set.

Mitch
