I would greatly appreciate if anyone has any tips regarding photographing the Aurora this coming December in Iceland.

Specifically, how far away from Reykjavik would I need to be to get a good sky to photograph? I am not too familiar with the effects of city lights and distance away from them when photographing the night sky.
