We have an 8" Orion Europa telescope with a GEM mount and would like to begin setting it up to do some photography (and eventually CCD work). We've been recommended Vixen motor drives but it appears that they don't fit a GEM mount. The Orion Optics email sales haven't been much help and we can't find out much more information.
Has anyone ever fitted a Vixen motor drive to a similar scope and mount...if so, we would be interested to have details. If it's impossible, any suggestions as to what we can do? I'd appreciate a direct email answer if possible, at
