A member of the Hercules Family
Background: One of the most famous Greek heroes of all time, Hercules(sometimes spelled Heracles) was a model for Greek citizens. He was half man, half god, and one of Zeus many extra marital sons. Hera tried to have him killed many times during his life, and finally settled by making him go mad and killing his family. After that, he disembarked on many adventures to make up for his crime, and those are the stories we know him for. The twelve labors of hercules, as they are known. Capturing the white stag, stealing apples from the garden of hesperides, and capturing cerberus. After a successful battle, he sent home to his wife to send his best clothes. The woman he had settled down with, Deianira, suspected he was cheating on her. She put a special poison from centaur blood on his cloak, and it made him gravely ill. It couldn't kill him, because he was still half god. But it caused him excruciating pain. Finally, he made the decision to end his suffering. He had himself ceremoniously burned. Then, his father Zeus, allowed him to join the other gods on olympus, and his image was put into the stars, holding his bow.
