Lots of verbage about levels of consciousness, but not a word on OBE. And repeated 4 times too- almost suprised it was not repeated 9 times.

One thing really puzzles me. In the above post bodhi says that Buddhism believes in duality. Yet in a previous post he says:

"The Buddha declared in unequivocal terms that consciousness depends on matter, sensation, perception and mental formations and that is cannot exist independently of them. "

Nothing dualistic about consciousness according to this. Consciousness is purely materialistic.

It seems that Glenn would rather promote Buddhism than answer good questions. If consciousness is purely materialistic, then OBE would not be possible. I guess there is no literature in Buddhism to copy over that treats this subject.
