Hi Everyone, I am not a regular but I am looking for a place that can answer some questions that have been on my mind lately and this looks like an excellent place to ask them.
1. does anyone know how big the universe is?
a. If you have a good idea how old it is wouldn't it be the age times the speed of light times two?
2. If the universe started off as a big bang doesn't that suggest some force stronger than a black hole?
a. if all the matter and energy were concentrated into a tiny space isn't that the same as a black hole?
b. Are we not told that nothing can escape a black hole?

Thanks for your time, I know sounds like I have too much on my hands.
