How Big Should I Build?

I'm trying to define the optimal size telescope for my use and skills as a builder. All insights you provide will be appreciated. My ideal scope would fit into the average car, require less than 30 mins for one person to set up (and take down) and be as large as possible. I don't intend to use it for photography (hence assumption it's a Dob)but do want to be able to set it up in the garden or move it to a dark site on short notice, with little (pref. no) preplanning required. I work well with wood and have a preference to purchase the optics. From your experience what type and size of scope is most likely to meet my needs?
